Mr. Clementine wants to Save The Jungle.

"God Save The Jungle" asks Benjamin Clementine

Benjamin Clementine has released a follow-up single to his “Phantom of Aleppoville”, and it’s rather enticingly entitled¬† “God Save The Jungle”.

Both releases come from his new album “I Tell A Fly”.

About the work, Clemetine states: “I have written my second piece called I Tell A Fly. In little words – it’s a story about two wandering flies finding fleet I am neither a politician nor prophet but an artist who creates to only entertain is no better than a con. I hope this album fulfils its purpose as the continuation from At Least For Now. Thank you for your kindness, warmth, patience and unparalleled support. Ars brevis, vita longa.”

“I Tell A Fly” follows his Mercury Prize winning debut “At Least For Now” and is available via Virgin/EMI from 15th September. You can hear “God Save The Jungle” below, and yes, it has already been added to the Strange Fruit Radio playlist!
